Some bands leave behind a catalog so packed with staples that you forget how many of the songs you know by heart. Creedence Clearwater Revival is one of them. A few minutes into the set, it hits: “Bad Moon Rising,” “Proud Mary,” “Green River,” “Fortunate Son,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain,” and the list keeps going.
That’s the feeling behind Randy Linder’s salute to the music of John Fogerty and CCR. On Friday, July 31, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, Randy Linder and his band bring Creedence Revelation to MoonFest 2026 for a night built around the swampy guitar tones, driving rhythms, and straight-ahead American rock that made CCR one of the defining bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Randy Linder knows how to make CCR feel alive onstage
Randy Linder has been in the music business since 1968, which gives this show a deeper sense of connection than a simple cover-band set. He developed his salute to John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival in 2000, and since then, he and his band have taken the music to audiences across the country and beyond.
Past performances have included several Las Vegas engagements, shows in Guam, and a show in Mexico for an enthusiastic crowd of 14,000 CCR fans. That kind of résumé matters because CCR songs can seem simple until a band tries to play them right. The pocket has to lock in. The guitar has to cut without overplaying. The vocal delivery has to carry that unmistakable Fogerty bite.
Linder will bring CCR to life on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. By the end, there’s a good chance the same thought will be going around the crowd: you didn’t realize you had so many favorite CCR songs.
Please note that Festival Passes will increase by $15 at the door, so be sure to get yours today!
